Happy International Human Rights Day!
On this day in 1948, the UN passed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was the *first* international anything that stated that humans have inherit rights for being alive. It is one of the biggest steps toward progress on the world scale! While there is a lot of work to still be done, it is good to step back and take a look at how far we have come since the initial passing of the Declaration in 1948.
So everyone today should look at themselves and others, and remember that we are all Human! Also remember (and raise a glass to, if you feel inclined) all of those that fought for human rights around the globe, whether on the smallest scale or the largest; they deserve to be remembered for the good that they have done.
